This blog post and the photos accompanying it bring me back to my childhood in GenSan. Our family loves shell. I distinctly remember having Tinolang Imbao and Kinason regularly when we were still living in GenSan.

nice photos! thanks for sharing. yes gensan market has its own treasures. i was pleasantly surprised to find one of my faves fish ‘barracuda’, they call it ‘rompe’ here. whenever home, i look forward going to this market with my african basket.
