For the last few weeks, I have been eating a lot of seafoods. My plan is to buy whatever interesting find I could get. Cook something I have never cooked before. And nothing could be more interesting than this sea creature, almost like those coffee-loving critters from Men In Black!
These are called alupihang dagat or sea centipedes. I bought half a kilo just for me to try how it tastes like. Others call this mantis shrimps. I don’t know which is correct. But they look like centipedes.
Any suggestions on how to cook them?

adobo sa gata.
I’d probably steam or boil them like shrimp. They’d probably work well on a grill too, like with lobster or soft-shell crabs. I’d start simple, dress with a little oil and lemon juice, so you really get the flavor of the animal. I wish I could get creatures like that here!
nakatikim na ako nito..ginataan..lasang hipon..pero mas complicated talupan…
gay..wondering if you have ever featured dishes with corn as main ingredient…
Oo nga, ang hirap kainin! Surprisingly, wala pa akong nafeature na mais. I should, diba? Since corn breeder ako. Nilagang mais pa rin ang paborito ko. Unless turuan mo akong magluto ng adobong mais ng Lola mo…
I think the best recipe for this is steamed then dipped in chili vinegar garlic sauce
Very fresh corn should be grilled in coconut shell charcoal. Tas lalagayan ng butter and little salt. Yummy
parang katakot naman kainin nito ate, hehe…pero at the same time, curious ako sa lasa
