It’s a few hours till October in my part of the world… hhmmm, almost Christmas as we Filipinos back home would think. But I’m thinking so far ahead, as it’s only September. Anyway, here are servings of pasta for all you from Presto Pasta Nights, that I am hosting this weekend.
First, Tandy from Lavender and Lime, shares with us how to make homemade pasta nero. I didn’t realize you could buy just the squid ink in sachets already. I always that if I make my own squid ink pasta, I would have to buy several fresh squid and extract their ink!

Heather, of girlichef talks about patitsio and stitches. Rather make it Pastitchio!

And here’s my favorite comfort food – the Filipino sopas – creamy pasta soup that is perfect after a long day among the corn fields.

Next week, Ruth is hosting Presto Pasta Nights once again. Send your entries to ruth (at) 4everykitchen (dot) com.

thanks for a great round up
Short but sweet…everything looks so tasty. Thank you for hosting this week =)
The roundup may be light on dishes but not on flavor. Thanks so much for hosting Presto Pasta Night Roundup this week.
I’ve never tried colored [asta before (that with squid ink). I’ve always wondered how tasty it would be. I’ve seen Korean eat such pasta. Thanks for dropping by my blog:-)
Tastes like squid? hehe Not sure, too.
