[...] If you ever eat at KFC here in Thailand, don’t dare miss their egg tarts for dessert. This is melt-in-your-mouth custard over several layers of paper-thin pastry crust is reminiscent of Portuguese egg tarts that were the craze a few years ago back in the Philippines. When I came here to Thailand last year I stayed in a hotel for a few weeks. I used to buy a box of six every time for my midnight snacking whenever I can’t sleep. This is the perfect pair for their chicken barbecue with Thai salad. [...]

[...] My first time to eat at KFC here in Thailand, I was asked for gravy the way they served fried chicken in the Philippines. Apparently, gravy is not popular so I got chili sauce instead. Whenever I’m too lazy to cook or prepare Pasta’s food, I usually buy fried chicken at KFC. Pasta and I bought love the original fried chicken so I usually order several pieces at once and freeze them for days I’m too lazy to slave over the kitchen stove. Sometimes, I would venture away from my choice of fried chicken and try other offerings which are not available back home. I got intrigued by their chicken barbecue with Thai salad. The barbecue was too sweet for me, but I like the salad very much. This way I can have my serving of vegetable to go with the chicken. [...]
