Things to do for the summer
Summer is here, after a several weeks of unusually long cold and windy days. The cold and windy days usually last till February only, but up to last week we were still enjoying the balmy weather. But today is rather hot already.
In the coming days, we are usually busy checking up things to repair at home, bamboos, nipa and coconut lumber that needs replacement. Best to repair broken rooftops while it is still hot and shining. When the rainy days come, it will be difficult to do so. Plus, maintenance is a better option in the long run, as it could get very expensive to replace or rebuild.
In any case, new homeowners might consider home warranty such as those provided by American Home Shield, that would certainly help in any unforeseen repairs or replacements in your new home. Things like plumbing, electricity and even home appliances can be part of the warranty, I wish we have them here.
