Cooking is the best way to relax for me. If not cooking, then reading recipes and imagining how they would come out comes next. I like to cook for people I love. Talks over long lunch. There is something about cutting vegetables or chopping meats that relaxes me. I tend to forget the outside world and just follow my nose and my tongue. I like garlic and chilis, pasta and rice-based dishes. I am not a good recipe follower though as I usually get ideas from them and not follow the instructions to the letter. Weekends are best as I can go home to a real kitchen.
So what to expect? Dishes I’ve cooked as I welcome friends and family at home. A thanksgiving, a celebration of life, a farewell meal. Recipes I hope to share with you.

I stumbled upon your foodie blog through pinoycook.net. I’m glad I did. You remind me of my chemist/doctor sister who kept on telling me before that cooking relaxes her. It took me so much time to understand what she really meant… not till I started messing around in the kitchen.
