A post and hurray

My blog just got accepted by PayPerPost! I learned about PayPerPost a few months ago through a forum that I frequently logged. I was just starting out so I knew I wouldn’t qualify then. On a lark, I joined PayPerPost again, submitted my blog, and a few hours after, got A Scientist In The Kitchen approved. This is great news for me! One of my plans for 2008, is to earn revenue from my blogs that will help sustain the cost of web hosting. And PayPerPost is one way for me to do it so.

ppp

I am just starting out, familiarizing myself with all the available tools that make life easier for the blogger/publisher (that’s me!).  Once your blog gets approved, you can browse through all the opportunities which you qualify, which is determined by the categories you have selected. As I was browsing the opportunities available, I found two types of post – text and video. I would probably be making more text reviews – I don’t want to do the chicken dance (join PayPerPost to find out what I mean), but for the video bloggers that’s great news. Advertisers are aplenty and you just have to qualify for the requirements. But don’t worry about missing an opportunity where you qualify, these are highlighted for your convenience. The opportunities are interesting, I lost track browsing through them.

Now, it’s back to food blogging for me.
