A Scientist in the Kitchen

Living on a small farm, we have a fairly large garden space with ornamental plants growing profusely all over. There is a particular spot, though, that I would like to claim for own. It is were a mango tree shades the area, and surrounding the tree are bromeliads of various sizes and colors. I’d have trellises all around with hanging plants like the emerald vine giving an emerald hue to the surrounding when they bloom. I’d like it to forest-like and at the center would be a wooden picnic table where I can enjoy great meals with my loved ones. The question is WHEN will I do it? I seldom go home to my parents’ house so most of the time that I am there, I spend them in the kitchen. Before I know it, it is time to go back to the city. *sigh* I know it’s not going to be easy to landscape on your own. I wouldn’t mind having someone, such as TruGreen, to plan the landscaping for me though.
