A perfect way to end my summer was a get-together with fellow bloggers from General Santos, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro City. The weekend actively, aptly called Socsksargen Summer Safari and Mindanao Food Appreciation Tour. The kick-off activity was a grand bloggers’ eyeball at Piyesta, time to meet fellow bloggers and plurkers, some of whom I know by their plurk names only! Time to put the faces to the the plurk names…

As usual, there were plenty of great food around and matching jello shots (more later…) plus an uber delicious lechon provided by Mayor Jun Acharon. Signs of good things to come…

hi!!! i felt i missed you when i was on a plane and saw you on the mag (lol)…so love this pic. wished i had enough time to blog about ‘the event’…who knows, i may be able to do so (better late than never), and steal this photo by orman (again).

You missed all the food trip the next day! Anyway, next time
